If you haven't heard a good rumour by Wednesday, start one.
This one went round and round our Purchasing Department, and occasionally escaped out the office door. Things like, the company's been bought by (a certain entertainment giant). They're moving the whole thing to the US (that one escaped, and circulated the entire company). Promotions, non-promotions, firings, escorting-out-the-doors, policy shifts - everything was fair game. Limited only by the imagination, mostly of LJH and SB, not to mention any names, of course
