h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's a crap title i know, but it's never had a name.

Starting off as the ordinary "shoot rubber bands at targets/plants/each other", it evolved into something much more sinister. There are no points to be had, but much kudos throughout the office for being the one true laccy band assassin, to be feared and revered.

Standard tactics include (when the senior staff are distracted) crawling SAS style on your belly into another office, armed with a fistful of bands. The firing as many as possible at your prey without them realising who is responsible. Firing off walls and items of furniture helps, so as to alter the trajectory and fool the victim into thinking it came from elsewhere.

Rolling round doors james Bond style is also a recognised method of band deployment, as is popping up unecpectedly from behind a desk and letting go a volley of elastic projectiles, before disappearing silently from the room...

All good clean fun, and keeps me awake long enough to consider I've "been at work".
