Celebrate Towel Day
Created | Updated May 22, 2011
Towel Day is an international celebration of the life and works of Douglas Adams. Observers of this holiday honor our site's founder by carrying a towel around all day. Every Towel Day is an opportunity to meet hoopy towel-toting froods and introduce curious strangers to The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
Some Ways To Celebrate Towel Day 2011
Take your towel to work or school. Reread your dog-eared copy of The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul. Use your towel smiley here on h2g2.
Visit the Towel Day website to find a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster mixing contest or a Vogon poetry reading. Sign a petition asking Google to recognize Towel Day.
