Brilliant Perfection.
When is the book to be published, it is very much needed, I do have behind the scenes knowledge of the subject. The Investiture of The Prince of Wales, I was there, right at the sharp end, with Wales in a very unpredicable, dangerous place at the time.
Cheers H.

Thank you!
Lucky you being at the Investiture!
I watched it on TV, though not quite the same (bought the postage stamps too)
Yes if there is a book on QEII I'll be reading that too

Hi Annie,
Thanks for the mail, strange ground here, I am receiving your mail on my old G.W space, the site now closed down, yet by clicking on reply I am instantly linked to h2 g2 and your post. Good innit.
Actually I was on duty as a Royal Protection Police Officer at Carnarvon in 1969. and I was actually with all of our Royal Family at close range, all night from 6pm to 7am.Lucky indeed and got well paid for it too.
Cheers H.

Hi H (or do I call you LMScott?)
Ah - you have a new Personal Space at h2g2 - U934904
and it needs updating - if you need a hand with that just let me know
This is a message board, and the messages can be seen by everybody - hence this is different to email, which is private.
How strange that I would have an ex (I'm assuming you're retired) Royal Protection Police Officer turn up to read my entry on the Queen!
I hope the section I wrote on Royal Protection met with your approval? (I had to limit it to the basics as Royal Protection would be the same for any monach not just QEII)

Thanks for the information Annie, I joined h2g2 as Get writing was closing, I did not realise my space needed updating as I seldom use it. We did get the old G.W skin, virtually as a gift from the BBC now it is "Morewriting" and used by many of the old G.W. members. Your work on H.M. and all aspects is well researched and in my opinion exceedingly well written, I am as you realised retired, for some considerable time.
Cheers H.

Now I understand the meaning of the magic 50. I have put the link on my favorites, the details you have written dwarf my own efforts, I have actually written three books, not released to the general public yet. They are more a true record of historical events, that need expanding from police type reporting to a lot of small books, like the Vet series. To give you the idea I have put as many as three short stories on one page. I have really fullfilled my initial ambition and intentions, but I am open to offers and fresh ideas. H.M. is my supporter and she has given me permission to publish stories about our Royal Family, including a very rare photo of her father and beautiful mother, I could post the picture and a story on Morewriting if you wish and I would give authority for you to use it of you wish.
Cheers H.
