I'm not sure how to go about editing an already published entry, but there are some things that might need to be mentioned:
The bus station has now been demolished to make way for a new and improved version (details at http://www.chelmsfordbc.gov.uk/planning/News/Bus%20Station/Bus.htm ).
The Army and Navy pub has now been closed down permanently, after a brief period under new management (when it wasn't hosting any gigs anyway).
The quiz night has relocated from The Plough and Sail to the Three Horseshoes, which is also in East Hanningfield.
HTH,
David.
It's all in a name.

This is a really well written article, but it's worth noting that Chelmsford gets its name from the guy who ran or owned (we're not sure which) the ford over the River Can. It was Mr Choelmer's ford. The river Chelmer was names after the town. See footnote 1
