Love this article, well written and gets the important points.
I'd like to add the place where Chelmsford gets it's name which fascinates me.
The river Chelmer was named after the town, not the other way round.
Chelmsford was once Choelmar's Ford. Choelmar was a guy who owned or ran (we're not sure which.) the ford on the River Can.
Wierd eh?
