nice entry! The Museum's Night is quite an event and it's a good idea to write an entry about it. 
But regarding the first footnote - I wouldn't say the Berlin Wall was built by the Russians. If I recall correctly, East Germany's economy suffered from so much people going to the West and the East German Leaders were massively entreated by the Russians to take measures against people fleeing the GDR, which was comparatively simple in Berlin. The East German Government then built the wall.
I'm sorry for not having commented before (in PR), so feel free to ignore this.
