We have something similar in central Ohio. Donations go to children who have cancer. My daughter recently had her hair cut. It was almost to her waist and is very thick. She came home with a very short stylish cut and a large smile. She not only got a great new look, but made a 15 inch donation. These are really wonderful programs.

There should be. It's a lovely idea - not having all that hair wasted by dropping onto the hairdresser's floor...

I have several friends who have given large amounts of hair this way. (I haven't, being a guy.) One of my friends had hair down to her waist, and then when I saw her again, I almost didn't recognize her.
Anybody else have a similar experience?
