Mature student - PhD B'ham Centre for First World War Studies, topic War record of Wilfred Owen and subsequent creation of iconic status.
I am interested in all aspects of Owen particularly links to Keats and whether or not Owen understood/utilised negative capability. Is, 'poetry is in the pity', an example of negative capability? Does it also inform/justify his homosexuality to himself; freeing him from societal disapproval?
