what a lovely piece of intellectual onanism ... fast food restarants work to a formula that doesn't include the punter having an earth moving culinary experience in tandem with out of body movement

sorry ... buy the ticket and take the ride
actually, [brand name deleted] are reminicent of post acceptance gay & lesbian people - that's how I am, get used to it

that's not to say courtesy doesn't have a place in [brand name deleted] ... this little black duck ain't homophobic either

I think this entry is rather good. I noticed some points that I am guilty of doing myself, and lots that annoys me when other people do in fast food places (and I don't even work there)
For instance, the "don't leave trays and food wrappers on the tables" is just an obvious point for me. I have always taken the tray and dumped the remains in the bin, but here (Scotland), there are so many people who doesn't do that, even if the place is packed with people waiting to get a seat. How nice is it to sit at a table where you have to either remove the litter from the previous person, or move it aside?

I do have a problem with Rule 6 of the etiquette. Not only does it require that I touch the hand of a Fast Food employee (smiley - yikes), but it may be taken as an approach, and therefore be contrary with Rule 13. smiley - biggrin

Remember of course if you are riding your bicycle you CANNOT use the restaurant part and MUST use the drive-in part.

There are some restaurants in LA who will not allow you to use a bicycle in their drive through.

Heh - there's some in the UK that won't either, but a very special one in Preston, Lancs that will (or would anyway).

I was at the resturant, on a very nice bike (my best mates), picking up a huge order for 8 people.

They said no to the drive-thru lane, and no to it being insde he resturant - not a problem until you find out that the bike was ludicrously valuable.

Once I spoke to the manager (who was great), and explained the value of the bike (i.e. it was more than most of his staff made in a year), he was happy to let me into the resturant with it, and very nice about it as well.

A real credit to his company, shame they don't recognise that sort of assistance propely in that co.
