A Conversation for The Quickest Way to Dry Your Hands Under an Electric Hand Dryer

The Dragonlady~There are no ugly women in the world, only neglected ones! Started conversation Sep 16, 2002
When I went to London, there was a McDonalds restaurant that we went to that had one of these new-fangled automatic washer/dryer combinations. I felt so foolish having to ask a strange woman where I could wash my hands, as it was not apparent to me where the sink was.
Her lovely children laughed at me, and told me to "stick my hands in that place, and I would find out". (Stupid Canadians!)
Never again did I use a public facility in London. I waited until we got back to my friend's flat to relieve myself.
I can laugh now. I have even related the story to my children without being too embarrassed.
I guess it was just one of those "live and learn" experiences we all have.

Yes!
I have seven kiddies. (Had 'em the hard way, too.) I also have three step-sons from my second husband (They live in another city now). And a boy and girl from my. My oldest daughter also has a 2 year old son that lives with us. (They are moving in 2 weeks, and I am going to miss them terribly.)
Towels around our house are often hard to find, believe it or not. They are somehow never in the bathroom, but in assorted bedrooms, gym bags, and even the car. (Why inside the car is beyond me.)
Despite my embarrassing moment in London, I thoroughly enjoyed being there. I hope to get back there some day.
Take care!

I think if I got any more towels, there would simply be more towels to lose. I might just find them in the dog house, or the chicken coop in that case. I'm also sure my at home would eat them during one of their feeding frenzies.
I like going to my house to lounge in a bath anyway. We only own a shower here, and it is often occupied. has nicer towels, too.

Just stopping by to say hello!
Hello!
Hope you are fine.
I will be enjoying my more, as I am moving to a new home with a real bath tub (rather than just a shower). No more automatic hand driers for me!
Perhaps we'll talk again sometime.
Karen
