It has been noted that some comets stay within the orbit of Jupiter.
Nasa launched a probe in 2005 which is supposed to land on such a comet in 2014.
This comet changes its perihelion each time it orbits.
currently it orbits in a little over six years and will be only 1.2 AU from the sun at its closest approach.
