A Conversation for Arkansas, USA
Buffalo National River Park

One of the best, most scenic parts of Arkansas, and you just barely mentioned it! The Buffalo National River Park is nicely hidden in north west to north central Arkansas. The river has just about any kind of floating that one would want. From top class white water for experienced floaters in the upper parts, to slow and easy in the lower parts. This river gets almost all of it's water from runoff, so the upper and middle are only floatable during spring, or after a day or two of good hard rain.
Besides floating, there are more trails in the park than you could hike or horseback ride in 20 trips. All kinds of camping, from trailer hookups, to primative, pack-in areas.
I have lots of pictures of this area, and more info at http://www.martymignard.com
Please take a look, Thanks
