as a supporter of Celtic Glasgow, Borussia Dortmund and the Irish National Team I really don't like The Kaiser, but your entry is... just... WHOW! Must have taken you ages to research and write it. Take this as a compliment from a Dortmund (and CELTIC!!!) supporter: I am impressed!

Thank you very much, and I'm sorry that I didn't see your message until the Edited Entry made it on to the front page. I did put quite a lot of work into this piece, so it's really great to know that it was appreciated!

Hurrah for H2G2!! Soccer gets such precious little coverage in the U.S. (Example: Recently the Chicago Fire won the US Cup, like, twice in a row I think and several of my friends in Illinois didn't even know that there was a U.S. professional soccer league, let alone a winning team in their area! On their defense, though, this was in the golden years with the Bulls and Michael Jordan!)
Excellent article! I enjoyed not only the topic, but I thought it was written extremely well!
Bravo!

Thanks, Lucrecia - glad you enjoyed the entry!
Perhaps it's time someone wrote a Guide Entry on US soccer?

Perhaps, but I don't have enough time to watch soccer, play basketball, go to school, and write articles about the stuff I know inside and outside!
The call is open people! Who's gonna step up to the challenge?
