Just wanted to say, thank you for a very interesting read! I am not diabetic, but I think taht we're taught far too little about this and other illnesses at school- that's why people are ignorant. It should be a part of social education (a completely useless class at the moment), especially useful info such as- first symptoms etc so that people don't leave conditions untreated! Your article was especially good at dispelling some diabetes myths I've heard
