I have discovered, after living here for the past year, that most people I meet have relocated to here from elsewhere in the country.
There is a large influx of young, talented people in many fields who chose to make New Orleans their home.
Perhaps this will contribute to a growth which is long overdue.
Even with hurricane season, New Orleans has the best weather conditions year round.
As a city, it offers many conveniences, yet it remains very relaxed and uninhibited by the mindset so many overcrowded modern metropolis' endure.
It is a paradise I am sorry to have to leave.
