The Trafford Centre is a rather large shopping and entertainment complex in Manchester. It has lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. It's only draw-back is that it creates rather a large amount of excess traffic. It's proximity to Old Trafford, Manchester United's football ground only makes this worse. On most match days traffic back's up onto the M60 for several miles. Add this to Christmas shopping traffic and bad weather and you've got gridlock.
