The article is very helpful, but the writing is a little confusing at times. For example, “with 'y' between a vowel or word final.” Between generally goes with “and,” so I do not know how to interpret the “or.” Also, I do not know if “word final” means anything specific, or what it means in this context. Someone who knows the relevant rules of Spanish pronunciation doubtless knows what all this means. Can you please make the edit, and clarify matters.
Thanks
