Hello there all,
I've explained this on another thread but I think I should explain it here as well.
Policy decisions (including this one) aren't made by any one person - a group of people are monitoring the situation. It really is out of our hands - however, we have fed back all of your comments to those responsible.
I'm sure you'll appreciate that this is a very sensitive issue and much as we'd like to provide you all with definite announcements about when these discussions can commence on h2g2 we just can't. However, if we are given the go-ahead you will of course be the first to know.

Good look forward to announcement coming through then. It will stop my blood boiling almost every day on here, as it is at the moment.

Apparently not. I had a post removed yesterday that was posted about 5 days ago. All it mentioned was that even BBC News online had changed their W*r In I**q section to 'After Saddam', and then gave a link to that page.

No change as of yet I'm afraid - however, we will let you know when we get the go-ahead to lift the war guidelines.

I guess we're done now.
Good. I recognize that this is a service provided by someone else. Y'all have the right to restrict our free speech on the board. I just don't think it helps. It sounds like this decsion was made at a higher level, and you're stuck defending it. I've been in the same position myself. It's a lousy place to be, especially if you disagree with it.
I'm glad it's all over now.
