Thank you for your story about George Formby senior. I absolutely loved George Formby jnr. when I was a child. I remember my Papa telling me, when I was 10, that George Formby had died. I wept and wept for a long time until Papa took pity on me and told me he was teasing me.!. whenever I hear him singing it transports me back to being a pre-teenager. I hope that you will write his story because really I know nothing about him except that I loved his cheery music. sincerely. AR1
