It was a cooker, not a parking meter. other than that, well done!

For the record, Last of the Summer Wine is not set in the Dales either(though BBC announcers and publicity often make this mistake). Holmfirth is just outside the Peak District, which is quite a long way away...
Excellent entry though!

To be fair, Holmfirth is quite a way from the Peak District too - The Peak District is in Derbyshire; Holmfirth is in West Yorkshire, some six miles away from the Derbyshire border.

However, I'll change the 'Dales' reference to 'West Yorkshire'.
As for the All Creatures reference, the entry discusses the similarity between the accents of the characters in All Creatures and those in Wallace and Gromit rather than saying they're set in the same time, so I would think that's fine as it is. W&G does have a similar "times gone by" flavour, as evidenced by Wallace's clothes, for example, while his inventions do have a "Jules Verne"/Meccano style to them
Hope this is all okay with Master B.

Well, the entry just says that W&G has the feel of a past era, which I think is fair.
By the way, 'All Creatures...' was set in the 1930s (although later series, which had nothing to do with the original books, ran right up to the early 1950s).

it's one of the footnotes that says the 60's-but of course--it doesn't really matter!---it was just because im a Dr Who fan, and with All creatures having peter davison...well I hoped I wasn't wrong!!

Sorry about that, Primord - I did reply to this yesterday but my PC decided to mess up
I completely missed the footnote so you are of course entirely right. I've changed it now so hope that's okay.
