A Conversation for Thomas the Tank Engine - The Works of WV Awdry

Several Differences

After reading Rev. W. Awdry's books, I realized how many serious differences there were between the Railway Series and Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.

For instance, Donald and Douglas are rewarded by being painted Blue, and Henry was actually Blue himself for a few books.

There are several other very interesting differences too such as the engines not having numbers originally, and the mysterious origins of Peter Sam and Sir Handel (ever notice the similarities with Stuart and Falcon?)

My son's actually got one of the videos which states that Peter Sam and Sir Handel are actually the same engines as Stuart and Falcon, I'll have to go digging through the books a little to find out the full story behind the name change though!
