Firstly, I love shrimp, and I love parmigarna.
I haven't tried a marinara. Maybe I should on time, but I am afraid for paying for it, and then not liking it. I only started eating Risottos because of my flatmate

cook some pasta
(i like spirals for this one)
prepare some pre cooked seafood such as crab meat smoked fish mussels clams surimi or such
prepare some garlic butter
heat the seafood in the garlic butter
toss with the pasta
enjoy
no good if youre allergic to crabs or if your partner is a vampire

I will have to try that sometime. My flatmates don't eat butter (or margarine) but I will fix that. Thanks, I will now be able to put that into my list of things I know how to cook (doesn't meant I can cook it).

I think Mrs Slartibartfast has had too much alcohol.
Which reminds me, everyone is invited to our little party. Just go to my page http://www.h2g2.com/U37738 and look at the conversation in the neglected entries journal listing.

Having a name like this does not mean I am Italian, just that I flogged it from my favourite TV program.

mrs. slartibartfast Posted Jun 25, 1999
what is witchety grub pizza? do they sell it at hockey games, perhaps?
Disgusting looking food
johnnyr Posted Jun 25, 1999
witchetty grubs are an indigenous delicacy in the sunburned country
and yes
they do play hockey over there
however when I went to hockey matches
I wasnt interested in pizza so much
as i was more interested
in the legs
of the ladies playing
do you play hockey

Isn't "Never generalise" a general observation? Isn't the whole of humanity's scientific knowledge base an attempt to extrapolate general widely-applying hypotheses to very specific observations?
And specifically speaking, apparently the Durian fruit smells worse than a Vogon's armpit but tastes quite divine. Another example of the maxim, don't judge a book by its cover - like oysters - who was the first to gulp one & realise that his/her horniness quotient had increased?!
How to light an oyster...
Dandelion Pegleen Posted Jun 25, 1999
...with a blowtorch, of course! Oxy-acetylene should get a nice flame going! Bit cruel to the oyster, of course, but then what isn't cruel to oysters?! Pearls, lemon juice, human gullets, reputation as aphrodisiacs, pizza toppings & general use in Italian & other cuisine - when oysters mingle with humans, the result is blatant evil. The only good thing we've done for oysters is breed more of them to be mean to! Perpetuation of the species can't be *that* bad...

youve had a pleasant run !
but shall we be trotting home again ?
but answer came there none ---
and this was scarcely odd, because

How can you say that about the Durian fruit.
It looks and smells worse, and, indeed, does not taste divine. It tastes as bad as it looks. Beware the Durian fruit.
