Oysters are lovely, providing they are smoked, or cooked. I can't stand raw oysters. They look like a big glob of snot, they feel like it, and they come second only to anchovies to be the worse thing to put on a pizza (funny how sea food doesn't go too well with cheese and tomato and bread).

a decent spaghetti marinara
is also rather superb
but it all

How do you smoke an oyster? It would make the paper soggy and keep running out the ends. How the hell do you light it. I suppose you could pour one into a pipe. A bit bubbly though. Ugh!!!
