A fascinating piece, thanks. Not something I'd have specifically Googled, but on a rainy lunctime I saw it on the front page, and followed the link. I'm glad I did.
One can only imagine what it must have felt like, realising that we're not actually the centre of the universe, and trying to prove it, when all around you everyone else says otherwise... I sometimes wish I could go back in time, and tell people like him, "keep it up, yo've got the right idea!"
