Thanks! What an enjoyable Guide entry! 
I don't think that we can post links any more, but if you're not already aware, there's an Internet "McLibel" website and mailing list that gives quite a large coverage of Jose Bove's activities as well as other not-very-friendly-to-McDonald's "stuff". It should turn up on any search engine that you limit to the UK.

I meant to post this the other day, but M. Bove and the eight (?) others arrested on the day began their jail sentences last week, having exhausted all avenues of appeal. :-http://www.guardian.co.uk/france/story/0,11882,740482,00.html

The good news is that he only has to do 40 dayys and he should be released.
