A Conversation for Irony
Bloody Wrong

Half of this article is bloody wrong, irony is not something that can happen by action. That is, if anything, poetic justice or fatal irony, not irony in itself.
Irony is merely saying something whilst meaning the opposite its not something that can happen as an action in real life. The only time it can happen in an action is on stage, in terms of dramatic irony, but that is a different thing altogether and is written down first anyway.
This page should be re-done so that there are no further boo-boos about the use of this word. Furthermore it should stop being used as a conjuction, ie "Ironically, John America became President of the US" - thats aptness not irony, aptness is the very opposite of irony.
