Cheap fruit and veg. Half the price of supermarket produce but tastes just as good.
I got a stone birdbath centre-piece for my newly-paved area in my back garden and the stall owner offered to deliver it to my home for free.
The card stall, I go there to get a month's worth of cards in advance because they're so inexpensive yet very nice.
Flowers....always an affordable bouquet to brighten your living room.
At Christmas they will make up wreaths to your specifications for no extra charge.
The people who run the stalls are so friendly and helpful.
If they don't stock what you are looking for, they will tell you where you can find it.
I love my local market, my friend who moved to Scotland many years ago says there is nothing like it near her and she misses it so.
I would to, and I'm glad I don't have to.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
