I agree! The Doohan research was exceptional. One question: on which hand is he missing a finger, and which finger (is that 2 questions?)? I ask because of an interest in Gary Burghoff of MASH who also has a compromised hand (left, I think and at birth). As you are probably aware, Burghoff is an outstanding portrait artist. I wonder if the missing finger had any impact on Doohan's career? Jerry Garcia of the Greateful Dead actually used his loss to his advantage: there are times when playing certain chords a forth finger actually gets in the way. Look at Hendrix who played an "A" chord with ONE finger. Though Hendrix had all his fingers, the other three got in his way when playing an "A" chord. I digress. The Doohan research was great. Get yourself a drink and put it on my tab (I just cannot seem to memorize the symbols and I am a teacher!?!?) Micheal Mole (Terry)

Doohan was? Garcia (while on an kool-ade test?) Burghoff? Which one created Klingon language? If Doohan it might have something to his 'supposed' Scottish heritage (those celtic languages you know). Please elucidate, who created Klingon, though I believe you are saying Doohan. Thanks for info: why "sad" fact? MM (terry)
