A Conversation for Ministry Of Sound, Knebworth 2001
A sad day.

Like Reading, Knebworth is clearly in the grip of the namby-pamby dance / world / talentless-but-beautiful brigade.
The last time I went the headline act were Queen, with Status Quo and others as support. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes and Rainbow have all played Knebworth.
Where can you go these days for a decent bit of smelly music?
A sad day.

I remember these concerts well (being a Knebworthian) and I have to agree - the age of the great rock concerts at Knebworth seem to have gone...
A sad day.

Might I suggest Glastonbury?
Not really sure about it not being 'smelly' music anymore. I was working in Reading about 2 or 3 yrs ago and sarcastic cries of "the great unwashed descend upon the town" were still commonplace.
A sad day.

I live in Caversham and can hear the Reading Festival from my house (I identified Status Quo from one chord a few years back). Believe me, great they may not be but unwashed they certainly are!
Key: Complain about this post
