I blame the FA

Great Western Lettuce (no.51) Just cut down the fags instead

It's not my fault they put the FA Cup Quarter final on Mothers day now is it?
And it's also not my fault for saying yes when I was asked if I wanted a ticket to go and watch Spurs play Chelsea is it?
This doesn't make me a bad person does it?
I am going to see her tomorrow instead, and besides she doesn't like all this commercialisation of things, so she's not a great fan of Mother's day anyway.

I say no, you are not a bad person, and by giving mum her present late, that just makes it more special doesn' t it? I mean when all the other mums are forgotten, ours will feel that they are still in the limelight! good reasoning, eh?

one cool tip about mothers- tell them that you made an entry in here, and tell her that this shows the whole world how you feel about her, result= instant pride and a warm 'n' fuzzy feeling! trust me, I just did it! smiley - biggrin

Well thanks for the advice, you obviously know your stuff on how to keep in your mothers good books.
Whereas leaving home shortly after finishing university, never phoning or visiting seems to ensure that I stay forever in the doghouse. smiley - smiley
