For the Mother with 'everything'?

Mother's Day has always been a problem for me. My mother isn't much into flowers unless they're still in a garden. She isn't much into chocolates, or jewellery. She has a small house which has more than enough pictures and knicknacks. Her garden already has more plants than she knows what to do with (including pots taking up most of the paths around). She has most of the Video Tapes she wants and most of the CD's she wants.

Where does this leave me?

Well taking her out to dinner is one possibility. Another is inviting her here, or going over there to make her dinner. Of course, every year she complains that she doesn't want anything and we should just celebrate her birthday and nothing more....

How about a day at a health farm, or a voucher for some beauty treatments at a local salon? Most Mums like being pampered!

Unfortunately my mother isn't much into beauty things or pampering like that. She's just plain weird! smiley - smiley

You think your mother's weird? We invited my mother outlaw out for a Mothers Day dinner in a nice restaurant with us, our children, our grandchild, my parents and my sister, and she said no thanks, she was going out to lunch with friends and was too busy to see any of us!
