Heisse Liebe (Hot Love). No, really, that's what it's called.

For this recipe, you will need:

1 Christmas Market
-5 degrees Celsius
1 pair of gloves
1 big mug of Gluehwein (red wine, cinnamon, muscavado sugar, lemon juice & rind, cloves - heat gently)
1 shot of (help me out here, is it Amaretto?)

Drink.

Cold cured instantly.

The Amaretto usually goes into the hot Coca to make Lumumba. The stuff in "Glühwein" is usually (cheap ) rum.
I prefer 2-3 fingers' worth of vodka, the juice of one lemmon plus 200ml boiling water

I prefer the real H.L. thing. Or alternatively, g-a-r-l-i-c, in really rough quantities!

Now for a serious question: just *how* do you remove the black and crusty remains of the sugar from the Feuerzange piece? A colleague of mine has tried everything which ends in "-acid" but didn't manage to clean that piece. His last resort was a hammer and a file. But is there anything more convenient?

The lazy solution is to buy a new one, or throw it in the dish-washer for 25 cycles, scrub vigorusly for ages.... best is prevention: place it in hot water right after use.
