I've just done a search and found that a cubic metre of glass weighs 2579 kilogrammes. Can someone do the maths and check this please? or find a cubic centimetre of glass and weigh it?
Imagines the figure to be accurate ( thinking of glass paperweights for instance)

Well water weighs 1000kg per cubic metre which is 1 gm per cubic cm. So window glass with a density of 2579kg per cubic metre weighs 2.579 gm per cubic cm. I just weighed a glass paperweight which came in at 2.7 gm per cubic cm. The 125gm figure would appear to be wrong.
