Fantastic entry, I really enjoyed it.
But can you elaborate on how court speed can be adjustable in Rebound Ace or carpet courts?
It all sounds so technological!

Hi there!
Thanks for reading my entry!
The court speed... well, you generally watch the speed of the ball. With Rebound ACE, the surface can be adjusted so it is identical to a clay court, a grass court or a mixture of the two... something about the rigidity of something... not too sure.
With carpet, it depends on the pile on the speed of the court.
Thanks for your comments!

So you need to do something actually physical to the surface of the court to adjust it - I had visions of buttons on the side of the court!

No doubt you are following the Australian Open (my fellow Aussies' pride is taking a beating with so many of our representatives being summarily kicked out in the first round!)

Its very unfortunate indeed... but us Brits have a showdown in the third round! I'm very pleased!

*too shocked to speak as Mark Philippousis and Lleyton Hewitt has been ousted*
sigh, we don't expect too much from our sporting legends, surely - just invincibility...

Very unfortunate... but I heard that Hewitt had chickenpox (bless him!) before the Slam...
