Did you know that the tongue-rolling thing is... uh... runs in the family? It's nothing you can practise, either you can do it, or you can't.
And it's dominant/dominating(?), so you only need to inherit(?) it from one of your parents - both my parents can do it, and my brother, but not I...
...but on the other hand I can look cross-eyedly with one eye - makes me ... and they can't!

I've never been able to roll my tongue, but I love annoying people with the eyebrow thingy... I need to practise the Mexican wave.
My sister claims to have taught herself how to roll her tongue, but she's not very good at it, so maybe it is genetic.

Does she use her teeth to support the rolling of her tongue? Because I don't think that is needed if you've 'got it'...

Just by doing nothing - not even moving a muscle - Ashley appears to be doing the most fanstastic facial gymnastic contortions. Incredible.

Well, as author of this entry, I can safely claim to be able to do all of the above. Some are the product of my genetic heritage (makes me sound like Dolly the Sheep or somesuch... ), and others the result of sleepless nights practising.
I am indeed a rubber-faced goon.
