You didn't mention "off-air" surround sound, which is almost exclusively encoded for Prologic systems at the moment.
The firat time I experienced this I got one hell of a fright - I was round at a friend's house watching an old movie on ITV just after he'd fitted his Prologic amp and speakers, and the first commercial to come on was for "Bodyform" sanitary products - the music was three times as loud as the movie, and "swept" around the room, making us both almost jump out of our skins...!

I seem to remember the singing in those commercials was pretty scary already!
