Chimes Mini-Meet

Promted by a new entry submitted to h2g2 about Cider, on the 2nd March 2002, a few Researchers met up at the Chimes Resteraunt in London, one of the few places that serves real cider. The evening passed very merrily, with the cider being drunk in medium quantities from large two-pint jugs that filled the table. As a casual, friendly night out, everyone had a good time, with conversations ranging from comics to gardening (even simultaneously I seem to remember). You can find out what you missed out on by reading the thread where it was all organised, and if you think it sounds like a good place, make yourself heard and maybe it can be organised again...

The h2g2 Winter Party 2002

The h2g2 Winter Party 2002 took place on Saturday 26 January 2002. For this party, the main daytime activity was the photo-scavenger hunt, which involved us forming teams and running around London trying to take photographs to fulfil tasks. For this reason, there are more photos than ever floating around after the party... The evening's activities were centred around a pub (as usual) and featured the traditional h2g2 quiz.

The Pre-Meet

Whilst the main party took place on the Saturday, there was a smaller 'pre-meet' on the Friday before. We all met in a central London Wetherspoon's pub, and had a great time.

The h2g2 Official Real-time Summer Party 2001

My first meetup, this Summer Party 2001 was huge! It was literally impossible to get to meet everyone. The h2g2 crowd decended upon the BBC Experience before retiring to a pub.
