Very interesting Entry. Although the reference to the communist occupation of East Turkestan (Xinjiang) having 'left most of the traditions alone' is misleading. The Chinese response to the Uyghur independence movement has been brutal. Many credible human rights groups have charged China with the widespread use of torture and the inhumane treatment of dissidents in the same terms as we are becoming familiar with in occupied Tibet.

Yeah, I had recently found out more about the situation there. Its had a lot of recent developments, which is why I asked for it to be removed from peer review, as I realised it was one of those articles I would want to add to a lot!

Still, I'll do my best with the original, to keep it up-to-date.

Kazzikins, getting folks interested in something is half the battle... just waking them up is about two fifths, where I live. This is a very interesting Entry, and I deserve a poke in the eye if I seemed to suggest otherwise.

I am very off with getting articles edited for many reasons, and have no intentions of submitting anything else for peer review, so you probably just detected my stroppiness!

I do intend to continue writing though, as I love sharing knowledge! I just believe in credit where credit is due! A lot of my articles are ongoing anyway, so editing doesn't sort them anymore.
