LOVE
Love came down from On High
To you and I
In our planet in the sky.
I was greening myself on the beach
When you wandered within reach
Just like a desert flower
Deep inside a springtime shower.
And it soon got red and dark
(I mean the sky, I'm not being rude)
And the stars began to spark
Above those wonderful statues in the nude
And the sky just screamed of love
Like a sign from Heaven Above.
And you had tough, leathery skin
And that just did me in
And yearn to sin
With your flesh and reptile bones
-See if I don't.
In our planet in the sky
We'll replicate, and eat mother's home-made Glargle Pie
- see if we don't.
