I read in some old occult tome that one of the 'flying potions' was a simple mixture of Belladona and Aconite in an emusifier. They would rub it on their bodies to enter a trance-like states in which they would receive visions. Belladona is, of course, dreadfully virulent as well, so please dont try it!
I am suprised anyone survived such an experiment!
I cant imagine the hangover...
