Books for Harp
the small harp - a step by step tutor by Alison Kinnaird (with CD). This is an excellent book and helped me tremendously. My problem is I find the clarsach far too limiting. I have decided to sell the clarsach, book and CD together.
Other harp books are:-
First Harp Book by Betty Paret
Celtic Harp - Ossian Publications
Irish Harp vol. 1 compiled by Ank van Campen, says they are Classical Tunes but some of them sound awfully Baroque! Actually, not 'awfully' Baroque - I don't think Baroque is awful at all - in fact, I'm quite fond of it.
Sounding Strings arr. Ronald Stevenson - UMP
I like the tunes in these books, and I will be keeping them, some of the songs are excellent teaching material. I'm looking forward to trying them out on my new piano.
ARDIVAL HARPS
These people sell Harp holidays in Strathppeper, Scotland. They also have some lovely harps for sale.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
