A Conversation for The Hubble Space Telescope
Hubble's defects.

I have always wandered if the Hubble was made, by mistake, to the specks for the US's spy satilites. They are made in somwhat the same design, and it seems to me that if the mirror was ground to focus at close range(toward the Earth), it would have difficulty focusing at infinity. Has any one else ever thought of this?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
