By a strange and curious coincidence, both the British and the American version of Dennis the Menace appeared in public for the first time on March 12, 1951. So far as I am aware, there was no connection between the two characters at all. Certainly they bear very little resemblance to themselves physically or mentally, as the British version is far more dangerous. smiley - biggrin
