In the first sentence of the last paragraph in "The Materials, Vessels and Operations of the Alchemical Laboratory," I think you meant "a kind of matrix." You've got "a king of matrix."

You're quite right!! It should be 'a kind of matrix' - an oversight in the editing process. I must visit Chris and let him know. What I regret most, though, is that the entry has been stripped of all its interesting pictures, which also served to break up large chunks of text. Ah well, it's the same rule for all I suppose (but a pity nevertheless).
