Letter Boxes That Do Not Exist

We live in what used to be two separate semi-detached houses... we were here when the pair became one house, which involved removing one of the two front doors...
There where some very confused postmen for a while.
Even more amusing was when the two houses were connected inside but still had their own front doors... someone going round selling something would find the two doors opened by the same person, and the response was often amusing

From my experience the combination of Letter box with spring (leathal kind), draft excluders, dog on inside, at bottom of the door is not only dangerous but scary as hell. Of course the post mans real dream letter box is like so:
The letter box is at about belly hight, normal as far as springs, flaps et.c are concerned and have a sign saying:
No newspapers
No Salesmen
No Leaflets
(et.c)
The benifit of the sign is when you are a paper boy with leaflets... You completly disrespect the sign!!! Leaflets everywhere!!!
Also the another type of letter box that was missed out was... Letter box at the top of door- these are completly out of reach and are very hard to post anything to.
Key: Complain about this post
