I live in a zone 5 (central Ontario Canada) do these methods apply to my habitat?

I'm not sure what that climate is like - but I can't see any reason why not. The entry refers to seasons, and where it mentions months you can adapt so it fits the seasons in your area. All you'd have to do is pick suitable flowers.
