Every summer in Galveston, the AIA (architects) sponsors a sand castle competition, with maybe a hundred companies building very professionally designed ... constructions (not many are actually castles). Some photos here:

Some years ago, one company did a "Rocky" exhibit, complete with a full cast performance. The transvestite guy was particularly memorable, I just wonder what bet he lost for that assignment ...
