h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm delighted to see this on the Front Page, but I am a little surprised to see The Cheese listed as a co-author! I take it that s/he was the original sub-editor, but someone at the Towers took over the editing? Since this was all my own work (and admittedly, completely over the top as far as length is concerned, and I promise I'll restrain my enthusiasm in future) I really would prefer to be listed as sole author!

Not to worry - it's all sorted out now - I dropped a line to Ashley and he has removed you from the list. (By the way, I had a horrible sinking feeling when I saw the new length guidelines that this particular monster had been the Last Straw for some poor unsuspecting sub-editor!)

I have been making firm resolutions that I won't go quite so far over the top next time.
