At first I thought you meant school busses (buses?), but then I read the footnote. I think what you mean are called "portables" where I live. The thing is, they are supposed to be temporary, but aren't, really. What they need is a new school, or more money to build real permanent buildings. And where I live, they don't even paint them; sometimes they have vinyl siding or something, but they're basically unfinished, so painting them might be a good prank!
